How It All Began
Growing up I spent a lot of time in the kitchen with my mother and my grandmother, usually making cookies or other delicious treats to give to friends/family for the holidays. I saw how much enjoyment it brought both the givers and the receivers and this is how it all started. I would look for any excuse to bake things, cookies, cakes, pies, you name it I have probably tried to make it at least once! More recently my husband and I were trying to brainstorm a way to raise funds for our oldest boy to go to New York with his school. We decided to give holding monthly bake sales a try and they were a huge success! Each month I would try out something new to make and the level of excitement that came from our "customers" was just so encouraging that I decided to see where this could go!
One of the things I love about baking is experimenting with new recipes and seeing how people react to my creations, this is why here at Chaos Kitchen, you never know what will come out next!

My name is Stephanie Lutsk, I am a wife to my amazingly supportive husband, Bill, and a mother to our four boys: Matthew, Nathan, Jacob, and Brayden. I grew up in the midwest region, but have been in Colorado for the past 20 years! My work background includes a lot of retail and some teaching. I have always loved what I do, but with 4 boys in the house (and a husband) needing to be taken care of, it's important for me to be here to take care of them as needed. This is what led me to turn another passion of mine into something a little bit more.
I am a self taught, home baker looking to expand my skills and find my specialty! Currently I dabble in a little bit of everything, I make custom cakes, cookies, chocolate dipped treats, etc. I am so excited to test out more recipes to see what else I can do!
